Cleaning Guide for MAC 600 ECG machine
The manufacturer recommends that you use a clean, soft cloth and a detergent or disinfectant that contains alcohol and is commonly used in hospitals.
The cleaning agent must contain at least one of the following:
- 50% Propyl Alcohol (50% propan-1-ol)
- 25% iso propyl alcohol (25% propan-2-ol)
- 25% Ethanol
Do not use any of the following cleaning products
- Organic solvents
- Ammonia-based solvents
- Abrasive cleaning agents
- Alcohol
- Virex
- Sani-Master
While cleaning the MAC 600 ECG machine, please follow the steps below.
- Never immerse the cables in any liquid
- Never pour or spray any liquid directly onto the cables
- Never allow any liquid to enter the machine via the connections or openings.
- Never autoclave or steam clean the cables, or dip them in CIDEX solution.
- Always wipe gently to avoid pulling on the long wires.
- Always remove the cables from the device before cleaning.
- The metal parts may get corroded if they come into contact with disinfectant solutions. Avoid using disinfectant solution around the metal parts.
If you do not follow the information in this guide, it can result in damage to the machine or poor signal quality on your ECGs.
