Cleaning Guide for the Mobil-o-Graph ABPM

This guide explains how to clean the different elements of the Mobil-o-Graph ABPM system. 

Alert
Do not immerse any part of the Mobil-o-Graph or cuff in liquid, as this could cause damage. 

Mobil-o-Graph

Wipe the device down with a damp cotton cloth using a mild detergent. Ensure that no liquid enters the device.

Cuff

The cuff and balloon (the internal part of the cuff connected to the air tube) can be wiped down using a cotton cloth and lukewarm water (up to 30°C) and a mild detergent. Ensure no liquid enters the air tube.
The cuff sleeve can also be machine-washed at 30°C using a mild detergent and without a spin cycle, then left to air dry. 

If the cuff sleeve requires disinfection, the following products have been tested and approved by the manufacturer:
  1. Meliseptol® (B. Braun)
  2. Mikrozid® universal liquid (Schülke)
  3. Mikrozid® AF liquid (Schülke)
If using a disinfection product, apply it to the cuff sleeve and leave for at least 5 minutes before washing off using the instructions above.

Pouch

The pouch can be wiped down with a damp cotton cloth and mild detergent before leaving to air dry.
