This tech tip will show you how to configure
the settings for the HMS Client Server so that you can ensure the settings are
correct when using the software at any point, but especially for the first
time.
The software settings are for the logged-in
Windows user only, when a new user logs in they may need to check their
settings at that time. There is a PDF version of this guide that you can download in the attachments at the bottom
1. Open the HMS Client Server via the
icon on the desktop
2. Double-click on John Doe.
3. Click the 3 dots at the top of the
screen
4. Ensure that the General settings
match – Bluetooth can be turned off if using the download cables only – and
then go to Port Settings
5. Ensure that the Mobil-o-Graph is
connected with CO on its screen, then click Add device
6. Click Search
7. Make sure it has detected your
device and then click Save – please note your Interface may display a different
COM number
8. Click Save
10. Go to GDT Settings
11. Ensure that all fields match, if
needed use the selection button to navigate to the relevant file paths and then
click Save.
12. Click Export
13. Ensure the settings match and then
click Save
Your software is now ready for use and you are
now able to use the Mobil-o-Graph, if you have any issues or problems
