How to setup the Hook Up (Isolation) Cable

If your Hook Up (Isolation) cable isn't detecting the device, it could be that the software setting linked to the cable needs adjusting. Follow the steps below for information on how to complete this.

  1.  Open the Start Menu selectedImg and type Bluetooth into the search bar, then click Open on Bluetooth and other devices settings.
  2.  Scroll through the list looking for the Silicon Labs CP210x USB to UART Bridge and make a note of the COM number - in my example, it's COM 3, but on other PCs it may be different.
  3. Go into CardioScan and select System Setting.
  4. On the Other B tab, set the Monitor Port to the COM number noted in step 2. Click OK once done.
