CodaSign Media Player Status Screen
You can check the online status of your CodaSign Media Player from any computer that is on the same network as the media player.
To do this, you will need to know the IP address of the media player. If you do not know this, please contact Numed support via the live chat on this page.
The URL to check the status of your system is http://<IP address>:8999, so if the IP address of your media player is 192.168.0.1, then the status screen IP will be http://192.168.0.1:8999.
The status screen will first show your network configuration and then the status of the configuration. To get back to the network configuration, just refresh the webpage.
How to spot configuration Issues
You can use this status screen to spot issues with the configuration, which could be stopping your CodaSign Media Player from getting online and receiving updates. This will then help the support team to troubleshoot and determine what the issues are.
- We first look at the series of icons at the top of the page. When all is working normally, all 4 icons will have green dots next to them.

- When the Media Player is testing the network, the dots will show amber if they are permanently stuck on amber. This could indicate an issue with the network connection.

- If there is a problem stopping the Media Player from connecting to the internet, the icons will display red Xs

- When red Xs are displayed, Numed support will also want to know if any of the network configuration is written in red, as that will help them determine what the issue is. In my example, Gateway is showing with red writing
