Preparing the device

1. Connect the Mobil-o-Graph download cable to your PC or laptop.
   
2. Connect the download cable to the Mobil-o-Graph and power on the device. "CO" should appear in the display window.
   
3. Open HMS Client Server from the desktop.
   
   
4. Click the  button. 
   
5. Fill out the form and click Save.
   
1. The minimum required fields are Patient ID, Name, First Name, Height, Weight, Date of Birth and Gender.
6. Select Preparing
   
   
7. Click the “Device communication” button. 
   
   
8. Select “Prepare Device.”
9. 
10. On the prepare device box, once you have ensured all previous measurements have been downloaded from the device,
    
    
1. Click “Delete Measurements.”
   
2. Click “Set clock of device.”
   
3. Click “Send Patient ID.” 
   
11. For the protocol
    
    
12. If you want to stop patients from seeing their blood pressure readings, turn off the Display of measured values
13. Set the first Daytime Interval to when the patient is likely to wake up and the Night Interval to when the patient is likely to go to bed.
1. Please note that the times are based on the 24-hour clock and are hours only
   
14. Set the “Measurements” per hour to the required number for each of the four intervals.
    
1. 2 measurements per hour for the daytime and 1 measurement per hour for the nighttime is the norm
   
15. Click “Save” followed by “OK.”
    
16. You can now exit the software
    
17. Fitting the device to your patient and the first manual reading

1. Unplug the Mobil-O-Graph from the download cable and ensure that the time is displayed on the screen.
   
2. Place the Mobil-O-Graph in the pouch and fit the correctly sized cuff to your patient.
   
3. You are now ready to take your first measurement. To start the manual measurement, press the Start / Stop button located on the front of the device.
   
4. Once the manual measurement has been taken, your patient is ready to leave. The device will take measurements based on the schedule you’ve set
   

Downloading the results

1. Turn the device off and disconnect your patient
   
2. Connect the Mobil-o-Graph download cable to your PC or laptop.
   
3. Connect the download cable to the Mobil-o-Graph and power on the device. "CO" should appear in the display window.
   
4. Open HMS Client Server from the desktop.
   
5. Locate your patient and click the  button.
   
6. Click the “Device communication” button.
   
7. Select “Read-out Device.”
   
8. Confirm the patient is correct by clicking “Yes.”
   
9. Once the results have been downloaded, you will be asked if you want to remove the readings from the device. Choose your preferred option. 
   
10. The results will now be onscreen. Click the print button, and you will be able to print a paper copy or create a PDF of the report.
