Mobil-o-Graph Download Cable

This tech tip shows how to connect the download cable to the Mobil-o-Graph correctly and to minimise damage to both the cable and the device.  Below is a video on this as well. 




  1. Plug the USB end of the download cable into a spare USB port on your PC or laptop.
  2. Locate the red dot painted on the silver cylinder end of the download cable.
     
  3. Locate the red dot painted on the edge of the data port, which can be located on the side of the device.
  4. Line both of the red dots up together and push the download cable straight into the device. There should be a slight clicking noise at the point of being fully inserted. 
    5. Warning
    1. Do not attempt to force the download cable as this can cause damage to both the cable and the device.
  5. You can now turn your device on by pressing the power button, and then CO will appear on the screen. 
  6. The device is now ready to communicate with the software on your PC or laptop.
  7. When removing the download cable, grasp hold of the grip on the cylinder of the download cable and pull straight out.
