Predicted Values Appear Incorrect

If you are performing spirometry and the predicted values for your patient look incorrect, and therefore the percentage predicted, and the lower limit of normality are outside the expected range. Also, if the graph isn't showing a predicted value range. You will need to check the following items, as they are the entries that the predicted values are based on.
  1. Birth Gender
  2. Age - predicted values available between the ages of 3 and 95 years old (GLI predicted values). 
  3. Height
  4. Ethnicity - Ethnicity is only relevant for GLI 2012 and ECCS predicted values.

In the example below, the patient’s weight was entered in place of their height, so the system compared their results to those of a 124 cm tall 45-year-old instead of the correct 185 cm tall 45-year-old
