Smart Universal ECG Machine and CardioView Settings Tech Tip

Smart Universal ECG Machine and CardioView Settings Tech Tip

The settings within CardioView are set on a Windows user basis. When we install the software, we attempt to copy the settings to all the users on the PC, however, occasionally this doesn’t work due to local IT restrictions. Therefore, in those situations, each user must configure CardioView before using the Smart Universal ECG for the first time.

This guide can also be used by customers with a Universal USB ECG machine.

4.      Some surgeries prefer to change the QTc Calculation to Fridericia. This is a clinical decision and we would recommend speaking with your GP or consultant if you are unsure. This will affect how the software measures QTc on the reports. Bazett is the default but older calculation, some clinicians prefer Fridericia which is the newer method.
