TV Remote Stops Working

The TV remotes for your Illyama TVs can get locked, which will stop the button presses from working. In this situation, you will still see the red light flashing on the remote when buttons are pressed,  but nothing will happen on the TV screen. If you do not see any LED lights flashing when using your remote please replace the batteries before trying again. 

To resolve a locked TV remote, follow the steps below:
  1. Power on the TV using the button on the TV itself; typically, this is found in the bottom left-hand corner when facing the TV. 
  2. Press and hold the NORMAL button until the LED flashes green
  3. Press and hold the INFO button until the TV input appears on the TV screen, just as if you had changed it. 

  4. The remote will now operate as normal and unlocked.
