Using Your Smart Universal ECG machine without Integration

If your clinical system is down or you are not connected to the internet, follow the steps in the guide below to take, print, and export your ECG as a PDF.

Before starting, please ensure that your ECG machine is plugged into the PC or laptop.

Taking your ECG

  1. Launch CardioView from the desktop
  2. Click New Test
  3. Fill the Patient Information form and click OK.

    1. Please be aware that all fields are mandatory, including Height and Weight.
  4. Click Save 
  5. Connect the patient to the electrodes and start a trace on the screen. When satisfied, click Save and Review.
  6. To print a paper copy of the ECG, click the print symbol in the top left corner.
  7. To export the ECG report as a PDF file, click on the File menu and then select Print to File...
  8. Click OK on Report Options 
  9. Choose the location where you want to save the PDF, enter the file name, and click Save.
  10. Once you regain access to the clinical system, you can attach the PDF to the patient's record.
