Mobil-o-Graph Software without Integration Installation Guide

If you are using the Mobil-o-Graph ABPM with EMIS web, SystmOne or Vision please go to the Mobil-o-Graph Software with Integration Installation Guide.

This guide will show you how to install and configure the HMS Client Server for use with Mobil-o-Graphs ABPM devices without any integration. Before performing this installation, you will need the Mobil-o-Graph ABPM device and its download cable.

All steps in this guide must be followed for your device to work correctly. The installation and configuration will take between 15 and 30 minutes to complete.

Installation of HMS Client Server for Mobil-o-Graph

  2. Run as administrator CDM212364_Setup.exe
  3. Click Extract

  4. Click Next

  5. Accept the agreement and click Next.

  6. Click Finish

  7. Go back to the HMS-CSInstaller folder and run as administrator setup.exe
  8. Ensure English is selected and click OK

  9. Click Next – you will have already installed the relevant drivers in an earlier step above.

  10. Accept the policy and click Next

  11. Click Next

  12. Click Next

  13. Check that Create a Start Menu folder and Create shortcuts for all users are ticked, then click Next

  14. Ensure that Create a desktop icon is ticked and click Next 

  15. Untick Run HMS Client Server and click Finish.

  16. Run as administrator SetPermissions.BAT then press any key once done. 

Setting up the device before configuring the software

  1. Insert 2 AA batteries into the device
  2. Plug the USB end of the download cable into a spare USB port on your PC or laptop.
  3. Locate the red dot painted on the silver cylinder end of the download cable.
     
  4. Locate the red dot painted on the edge of the data port, which can be located on the side of the device.
  5. Line both of the red dots up together and push the download cable straight into the device. There should be a slight clicking noise at the point of being fully inserted. 
    6. Warning
    1. Do not attempt to force the download cable as this can cause damage to both the cable and the device.
  6. You can now turn your device on by pressing the power button, and then CO will appear on the screen. 
  7. The device is now ready to communicate with the software on your PC or laptop.

Configuration of HMS Client Server Part 1

  1. Open the HMS Client Server via the icon on the desktop

  2. Double-click on John Doe

  3. Click the 3 dots at the top of the screen

  2. Turn Bluetooth active to off, then click on Port Settings

  3. Click Add device

  4. Click Search

  5. Make sure it has detected your device, and then click Save – please note your Interface may display a different COM number, then click Save

  6. Click Save

    1. The Port settings will need to be done for each Windows user
  7. Exit the HMS Client Server software
