Schiller MS-12 ECG System without Integration Installation Guide
This guide will show you how to install and configure CS-104 for the Schiller MS-12 ECG Machine. This installation requires a license key. This can only be requested after the software has been installed. We require information from the software to issue this; please see Requesting the License for CS-104 for full details.
All steps in this guide must be followed for your device to work correctly. The installation and configuration will take between 20 and 40 minutes to complete.
Confirm the language and region by clicking the save icon at the bottom right of the screen.
Make a note of the Host ID.
Click CS-104 License Requestand complete the form with all requested details so we can issue your license key. License keys are issued manually, so there may be a delay after submission.
Configuration of CS-104
For the software to work as intended, all settings highlighted in the guide must be configured.
Once the license has been sent to you, copy and paste it into the field (either activation key or license key) indicated in the email. You should then get a tick to the right of the license key; then click Save.
The PC name will display in the device ID. Now Click Save.
Enter the following, then click Login: Username = default Password = system
Plug the ECG machine in, and the icon will appear in the top right corner once the device is recognised. Not got the ECG machine? Please disregard this step.
Click on Settings
Select Layout and then change the Screen size to Maximized.
At the bottom left-hand side is a people icon ; click this to go into the user config area.
Click the plus symbol at the bottom of the Users box.
Create a new user for the integration when taking ECGs. Remember to save
We recommend the following.
User name = Nurse
Password = Nurse
Re-type password
Role = SEMA Nurse (please note that the rest of the configuration is based on this setting)
In Roles, select SEMA nurse and click the edit button at the bottom.
Under Privileges, ensure that all options are ticked, use the scroll bar to see all options, then click the Save icon. - Tip: if you right-click on the word Enabled, it will allow you to select all options.
Close the software using the X.
Double-click on the CS-104 icon and log in with the new Numed-i3 account created in step 9 above
Click Settings
Go to Recorder view, select light and then configure as per below.
Once complete, click the person icon to the right of each setting
Whenever you make a change, you must click the Modify Setting icon.
Go to Import/Export, select Export. Choose where you would like the ECG exported to; in the example, it is set to C:\ECG Reports. you can use to navigate to the correct location.
Security select Lock
Reports select Formats; remember to click the person symbol after each amendment.

ECG select Analyzer view
ECG select Print output - note, if the PC is directly connected to a colour printer, set Grid Color to Rose
ECG select PDF output
Close the software down using the X.
Double-click on the CS-104 icon and log in again with the Nurse user
Click Patient search
Click Add New Patient
Create a dummy patient and then click Save patient.
Ensure the patient's name shows at the top of the screen, then click on Resting.
Once the acquisition screen appears, click the yellow heart menu at the top left-hand corner.
Click Edit actions
Choose the tab below depending on if you've plugged the machine in or not. Remove items by clicking the X, then add items using the dropdown against that component.

Then click the yellow heart menu, then Save actions.
