Patient Call Configuration in TPP SystmOne.
This guide shows you how to configure TPP SystmOne to work with the CodaSign Patient Call.
With the patient call, there is a Patient Call System physically attached to a single PC within the surgery, which is either the Gateway PC or one of the reception PCs. The SystmOne on that PC has different settings from the clinical rooms.
If you notice that SystmOne settings need to be configured repeatedly, please check that all users are logging out correctly after use by pressing F11 and selecting Shutdown.
Gateway or Reception PC
- Open the Start Menu
and type Bluetooth into the search bar, then click Open on Bluetooth and other devices settings.

- Under Other devices, locate the ATEN USB to Serial Bridge and make a note of the COM number. If the ATEN USB to Serial Bridge is missing, please see How to install the PC cable for Patient Call

- In my example, the COM number is COM 16, but on your PC, this may be different.
- Go to SystmOne and click System.

- Select PC Settings

- On the left-hand side, click the drop-down arrow to the left of Display Boards.

- Select Numed Envisage on the left-hand side

- Click the Board connection drop-down menu and select the Numed Envisage board attached to this PC.

- Set the COM port to the same COM port as the ATEN USB to Serial Bridge noted in step 2. Then click OK.

- Please note that the Test Ports and Send Test Message buttons do not work.
- Press F12 and then shut down SystemOne.

- Once SystmOne is logged back in, the patient calling will start working.
