All steps in this guide must be followed for your device to work correctly

Installation of the Intelligent Integration Interface 

INPS Vision hosted? Click here first

1. Download https://downloads.numed.co.uk/Support/I3Tools/com0com.exe
   
2. Run as administrator com0com.exe
   
3. Click Next
   
4. Click I Agree
   
   
5. Untick CNCA <-> CNCB, then click Next
   
6. Click Install
   
   
7. Click Install if required on any pop-up
   
8. Click Next
   
   
9. Tick Launch Setup and click Finish
   
   
10. Set the COM ports to COM8 and COM9, then click Apply
    
    
11. Close com0com down.

1. Download and extract https://downloads.numed.co.uk/software/i3/I3installer.zip.
   
2. Run I3installer.msi and then click Next.t
   
3. Click Install
   
4. Click Finish
   

Installation of CardioView

1. Download and extract https://downloads.numed.co.uk/software/qrs/Cardioview.zip
2. Run as administrator setup.exe
   
3. If any dependencies are required, the installer for those will run first 
4. Click Next
   
   
5. Click Next
   
   
6. Click Install
   
   
7. Click Finish
   
   
8. It will then automatically install the driver and the required PDF printer.
   
   

Configuration of CardioView

1. Open CardioView from the desktop
   
2. Select ECG SETTINGS
   
   
3. Ensure the General tab matches the image below
   
4. On the Analysis tab, some surgeries prefer to change the QTc Calculation to Fridericia. This is a clinical decision, and we would recommend speaking with your GP or consultant if you are unsure. This will affect how the software measures QTc on the reports. Bazett is the default but older calculation; some clinicians prefer Fridericia, which is a newer method.
   
5. On the Acquisition Settings, for the software to work correctly, ensure everything is set as the image, especially Use MIDI Sounds and the 50 Hz Power Filter.
   
6. Click OK
   
7. Click PRINT SETTINGS
   
   
8. Set as below, typically only Minor Grid (bottom left-hand corner) needs adjusting
   
   
9. Close CardioView

Configuration of Intelligent Integration Interface (I3)

1. Launch the Intelligent Integration Interface (I3) and click the settings cog in the top right-hand corner
   
   
2. Select your clinical system and configure to match the image.

   Please note that the EMIS Web Server is set for England in this example; please ensure that you select the correct one for the region. The Organisation ID is the EMIS number (may be known as a CDB number).

   We recommend that you use a dedicated Vision account with the Intelligent Integration Interface. If one hasn't already been setup we suggest a username of "NUMED".

   The Intelligent Integration Interface works with both Socrates (local server only) and HealthOne. Please note that it does not work with Socrates Cloud.
   

   
    
4.  Click Add license
           
5. Enter the supplied license key and click Internet Activation. Click Close once the license is activated - the license key in the image below is a dummy and will not activate.
   
   
1. If you get an error activating the license key, please contact support via the live chat on this page. 
   
6. Click on Manage products.
   
7. Ensure that your device is ticked. If you have any other devices already enabled, please leave them ticked. Then click Save
   
   
8. Click on the ECG settings tab
   
9. Scroll to Universal / Smart Universal ECG Settings and confirm that the CardioView executable path has been filled in. Then click Save
   
   

For TPP SystmOne customers, please ensure that a user with high-level access runs the software for the first time to approve the connection to SystmOne.e

For the EMIS web, please ensure that the Intelligent Integration Interface Partner API has been fully activated in the EMAS manager before the first use. Please see How to configure EMAS Manager for I3 for further information on this.
